Siobhan Connors is a multi-skilled arts manager and professional based in Vancouver but hailing from both New Zealand and Melbourne, where she worked widely across the professional arts sector in a variety of structural development and leadership roles including producing festivals, coordinating interstate tours, co-founding two theatre companies, and investing time creating and managing live music events and performance based charity fundraisers.
Siobhan has been cast in multiple theatre, film and television productions including iconic Australian TV shows 'Romper Stomper' and 'Neighbours'. Other acting highlights include feature films; Long Night in Pexington, Bugs, Time Apart and The Neon Spectrum and theatre credits; Quite Drunk, Very Jesus-y by Grace De Morgan, Two Hearts by Laura Lethlean, The Proposal by Anton Chekhov and Loose Teeth by Cassandra Elli.
Siobhan various positions include Festival Producer for Poppy Seed Theatre Festival, independent theatre producer a number of productions; with the last two productions snapping up 7 Green Room nominations, emerging with 2 wins including Best Theatre Production, worked as the Programming Coordinator for Regional Arts Victoria , an arts advisor for City of Port Phillip Council Art and Soul advisory panel, on the Board of Trustees for Howard Fine Acting Studio and sat on funding panels for council Cultural Development Funds, The Australian Children’s Theatre Foundation and Showcase Victoria.
Siobhan was selected to be one of 12 women for Melbourne Theatre Company’s Women in Theatre program, a mentor for Melbourne Fringes' Compass Navigate program, aided in the development of Arts Centre Melbourne's artist lab- The Deep Dive (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime- associated program), and worked as the Artist Liaison for Showcase Victoria.
I loved working with Siobhan, she always delivers. I would have no hesitation in working with her again on much bigger projects, I totally believe in her talent, drive and professionalism.
